Sampling System in Max/MSP

Sampling system developped in Max/MSP. DSP processors were implemented using gen~ .

System consists of delay, artificial reverb and compressor implemented in gen~ object.


The patch can be created dynamically and iteration in each layer is possible. The overall parameters can be controlled in a single patch therefore a possible chaining operations can be made on effective parameters. Output of the system can be recorded live and can be exported as an aiff or wav file. The overall frequency response of the system can be seen in figures above. As it can be observed, effect modules has an high impact on the overall sample, it’s capable of producing rich soundscapes and different acoustic relations. The combination of parameters both within the delay and reverb changes the characteristics of sound dramatically.
